Movement Psychotherapy
Tasha specializes in movement psychotherapy, a body centered approach to psychotherapy. This approach works with the connection between mind and body, encouraging awareness, self expression and integration through the use of the body, movement, and words. Tasha's work is informed by humanistic, psychodynamic and transpersonal approaches to psychotherapy.
Movement psychotherapy can help people overcome difficulties such as: lack of self confidence, stress related issues including post-traumatic stress, depression, unexplained physical pain, addiction problems and the effects of bereavement and separation.
Movement psychotherapy is also suitable for personal development, supporting you to connect to your authentic self, let go of obstructive patterns and build more satisfying relationships. Working with the body also helps us connect to our natural flow of energy and vitality which can improve our sense of well being.
Sessions take place on a weekly basis and last one hour. Movement Psychotherapy is offered within an agreed time frame or on a more ongoing basis, depending on your needs.

It was a great relief to be able to talk about stuff that has happened in my life that I have never told anybody about, and know that the sessions were confidential. I feel I was able to let go of pain from my past, and begin to move forward with my life. It was also good to connect to my body and emotions... I feel more accepting of myself now.
