Supervision

Supervision provides an valuable space to reflect on your practice,  supporting you to gain greater awareness of yourself, your clients and the therapeutic relationship. By bringing to light unconcious processes such as the transference and counter transference phenomenon, it is possible to gain deeper understanding of our clients and what is that will help them.

Tasha uses an integrative approach to supervision, drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic and transpersonal theories that inform DMP practice. Creative approaches such as authentic movement, drawing and role play are also offered to help you gain new insights and perspectives on your practice.

Tasha draws on her extensive experience of working with a wide range of client groups, including DMP with children, adults with mental health problems, the elderly, people with learning disabilities, and the ‘worried well’. She also brings to her supervision practice specialist knowledge of effective self care strategies for therapists in managing vicarious trauma and burnout.
